He has 36 years of wide ranging experience in the field of Accounts, Finance, Statutory and Training.
Pugal was associated with Tally Solutions Pvt Ltd for the past 15 years as Associate Vice President and has shouldered various responsibilities in the organization. During the initial stage was heading the ‘Education Division’ for 3 years and then moved to ‘Research & Development Function’ as ‘Subject Matter Expert’ for 5 years. When VAT was introduced in the year 2005, was heading the functional team for VAT module. Was heading the ‘Product Management’ Vertical for ‘Audit Tool’ for about 4 years and later moved as ‘Head Project & Program Management’ for business development function.
Was entrusted with responsibility of the GST knowledge base and dissemination of knowledge and impart training on the GST domain as ‘Head – Centre of Excellence – GST’.
During this stint have conducted over 100 GST domain sessions for various stakeholders like, Chartered Accountants, Tax Practitioner, Tally’s partner ecosystem, Customers varying from trading SME in the manufacturing business. Created over 60 ‘Train the Trainers’ under his leadership. Also conducted ‘Faculty Development Programs’ for College professors and faculty across India.

His manual Accounting and Finalization was core strength.Pugal held top management position for Group Company in Finance, Accounts & Administration. During the short stint of his career was also involved in Sales & Marketing functions.
Pugal so far has contributed to 100+ blogs on GST domain and has conducted over 75 sessions on GST Fundamentals & Technology for GST at various forum viz., ASSOCHAM, CII, FIEO, CAIT, FKCCI, Chamber of Commerce of Ahmedabad, Coimbatore. Pugal has also conducted 25+ Faculty Development Program for professors and HoD of University and Colleges. Also have conducted over 30+ sessions for college students on GST fundamentals.
