Pugal.T is the founder and CEO of Potential Solutions, has 36 years of wide-ranging experience in field of Accounts, Inventory, Statutory and Training. Presently, Tally Solutions Pvt Ltd retains him as a concurrent Consultant, handling specialization of GST domain and Product knowledge enhancement.
Pugal is a nationally renowned Tally expert, practicingit since its inception 30 years ago, and has contributed in its development for over 15 years as their Associate Vice- President. Specifically, he is credited for introducing the VAT module in 2005, the Audit Tool in 2010 in Tally ERP 9.
He has travelled to more than 100 cities training more than 5000 Tax Practitioners all over India specific to each of 29 states of India and Middle Eastern countries while heading Tally’s VAT implementation team. He was instrumental in enrolling more than 40,000 CA’s for the Business Advisory Practitioners Program, as head of Tally’s “Audit Tool for Chartered Accountants” and conducted 150+ sessions for them at various ICAI chapters and study circles.
Centre of Excellence – GST was instituted in from May 2017 at Tally and he was heading its “Centre of Excellence” and was responsible in creation of GST knowledge repository and dissemination of knowledge and impart training on the GST domain. During this stint has conducted over 200 sessions on GST Fundamentals & Technology for GST at various forums like Institute of Chartered accountants, Institute of Cost Accountants, Institute of Company Secretary, ASSOCHAM, CII, MSME, GCCI,FKCCI,IMC,TIE, Coimbatore Chamber of Commerce etc.
Pugal has promoted Potential Solutions to enhance and spread Tally Training, it’s Implementation, Integration and Customisation by conducting regular Faculty and Student Development Programs at various Universities and Business schools like Christ University, Mysore University, Gujrat University, Bangalore University-Nagarjuna College etc.
Rajiv is a senior business consultant, turn- around specialist and a start-up mentor. He has consulted Keonics for setting up a Technology Business Incubator with an outlay of 60 crores INR and helped getting a grant of 14 crores from DST- Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India also assisted Department of IT, BT and Science and technology for their Start Up program at Bangalore Tech Summit and other initiatives.
As a Founder CEO of Fountainhead Research, Advisory and Solutions, he has successfully turned around several medium and small-scale enterprises and achieved substantial organizational growth for them. Currently he consults Cash Pundit and E2T in Fintech space, Cabinet in Document management systems space and Camp in CRM space.
He is a frequent speaker on Marketing and Entrepreneurship in various universities and institutes like Mzumbe University Dar Es Salaam, IBMT Bangalore etc.He has more than 40 years of experience in corporate world in India and Tanzania. In industries ranging from electronics, automobiles, electrical and consumer products in companies like Hero Motors, LML Vespa, Weston TV, Halonix in India and as CEO of Kiboko paints and Metl group in Tanzania.
Widely travelled in India, Americas, Europe and Africa. He is a 1975 graduate and a Distinguished Alumnus Awardee of The Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University. An avid reader, learner, and trainer, he believes in sharing experiences and imparting education as his commitment to giving back to society.
